Happy New Year! I am so excited for 2013 - a fresh new year and a brand new blog design to go with it! I know I say this every time I create a new design for Miss Indie, but this really is my favorite so far. I was very much inspired by 1960s mod stylings and colors. I think it's perfect! ♥ There are still a couple of pages that I need to put some finishing touches on, so keep an eye out for a few changes here and there.
I hope everyone had a very fun (and safe!) New Year's Eve. I stayed up with my family to watch the NYE celebrations on tv, and then at midnight my sister and I ran outside to watch the fireworks being set off in our neighborhood. It was a pretty
freezing fun way to ring in the new year. :) I can't tell you how excited I am for 2013. I just have so many hopes and dreams for this year, and I have a very strong feeling that this is going to be an incredible year. 2012 felt a little off to me, like it went by in a hurry. I know that this year is going to have so much more of a presence, if that makes sense. It's really going to be a good one and I'm excited to start making things happen this year!
Well, I've been up all night working on getting the blog design up and have yet to go to bed, so I'm ready to catch some zzz's. I hope you guys have a great first day of 2013! Let this be the year of big dreams, hard work, and true happiness! xo, Mandy

I have to say that when I logged on today, I was so excited to see your new design. The colors are cute but the scallops are very pixelated you may want to re-do those.
