Strawberries and carrots are two things that I love together on salads, so I thought, "why not together in a smoothie?" I blended one up yesterday and it was so fresh and full of flavor! Delicious! I also loved how bright pink the color was. Most of the smoothies I make turn out green or beige....not the most appetizing colors, haha.
If you're looking for a quick meal packed full of flavor and nutrients, and something to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Spring, this smoothie is definitely for you!
5-6 baby carrots
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1/4 medium banana, frozen
1 small handful raw almonds
1 Tbsp flax seed (optional)
1 Tbsp chia seed (optional)
1-2 squirts liquid stevia (optional, to taste)
