52 Weeks of Smoothies: Creamy Banana Smoothie

Bananas are one of my favorite fruits to work with when making smoothies. I love using them to make a smoothie creamy and rich. This week, I decided to make bananas the main ingredient, and created the most delicious smoothie ever. It tastes like dessert. Mmmm so good.
Creamy Banana Smoothie, serves 1
1 banana, sliced and frozen
6 oz (1 single container) light vanilla or banana yogurt (I used banana for more flavor)
3/4 cup almond + coconut milk (I use Almond Breeze brand)
Small handful raw almonds
1 Tbsp honey

This banana smoothie is my new go-to treat for when I have a sweet tooth. Seriously, it tastes like the banana yogurt smoothies from Smoothie King, only way healthier. If you're a fan of bananas, I highly suggest trying out this cool drink! xo, Mandy

  2. Yum! This is similar to a smoothie I like to make. frozen banana, a spoon of Nutella, almonds and some almond milk. It's usually what I have for breakfast on mornings I have to go to work. The Nutella is a nice sweet kick in the morning.
