A pretty new dress from Lace Affair. I'm totally dying over this floral print. I can already tell florals are going to be an obsession for me this year. ♥
A shot from a recent Indie Darling photo shoot. Oh, and for any of you wondering....the Pumpkin Orange Baguette Shoulder Bags are back in stock, and the colored Fox Bags will be back in stock very soon (the brown one is still available).
A little treat to cheer me up during these horrible snow storms we've been getting. Can it be summer yet? (Also, I've recently discovered how much I love mint ice cream. It's delightful.)
My favorite quote. Can you imagine how much better the world would be if everyone practiced this advice? Especially the blogging community. There is so much hate going on recently and that saddens my heart. We should be lifting each other up and celebrating everyone's accomplishments, instead of trying to tear each other down. Make it your mission to spread love and kindness. It will come back to you, I promise. ♥
Played hooky from work the other day to finally go see Warm Bodies. Ohmygosh I can't even tell you how much I loved this. Favorite movie of the year so far, and one of the best soundtracks for a film ever. Plus, Nicholas Hoult is super cute as a zombie. *wink*
This week is definitely a busy one for me. I have a bunch of new items that I need to get photographed and listed in the shop, I need to finalize some ideas for packaging and shipping supplies, I'm starting work on a new line of hand-painted rings (as well as some new kawaii-inspired jewelry), I need to go grocery shopping for more smoothie ingredients, and I'm in desperate need of a trip to the hair salon. Busy busy week, but filled with all good things! What does this week look like for you? xo, Mandy

Oh boy, I am a BIG Zombie nerd, and while I enjoyed Warm Bodies and thought it was good fun, I really felt like the dropped the ball on what could have been a wonderful double homage in calling R, Romero. I mean, since the Romeo and Juliet thing was pretty darned clear already, I wish they had gone that extra mile to honour the grandaddy of modern zombie film, George A. Romero! I mean, that homage practically wrote itself.

omg, this is way random but I can't believe the movies are $7.50 where you are. In Boston it's $12 a ticket! Wow. But I love Brian Regan! What a fun show.
ReplyDeleteWarm Bodies is my favorite movie of the year so far too! If you haven't read the book, you really should. It's just as good!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if Warm Bodies was good or not. And I would love an ice cream cone right about now :)
